Once booked, your professional photographer will guide you through the best photography locations, ideal lighting times, and strategies to avoid crowds, ensuring perfect shots. The Eidos Photography team consists of carefully selected, skilled artists. Not only will they capture stunning photos, but they will also edit them into cherished, high-quality souvenirs you'll treasure for years to come.
Do you offer indoor or studio sessions?
While our primary focus is outdoor photography, we do offer indoor and studio sessions upon request. Let us know your preferences during the booking process, and we’ll tailor the shoot to your vision.
How long will it take to receive my photos?
You can typically expect to receive your edited images within 72 hours of the photoshoot. For urgent projects, we offer expedited delivery options upon request.
who is a vacation photographer?
A vacation photographer is a professional local expert who knows the ideal photography locations, the perfect timing for natural light, and strategies to bypass tourist crowds to capture stunning moments without busy backgrounds. Photographers from Local Lens are chosen for their artistic talent, high-quality work, and distinctive style. They don’t just take great pictures; they also enhance and edit them into lasting, beautiful memories that you’ll treasure for years.
When is best time for light and crowds?
For fewer crowds, it’s best to get up early! Shooting during the ‘Golden Hour’—the first or last hour of daylight—is also ideal, as the soft, warm light is evenly diffused by the indirect sunlight. Stay away from shooting between noon and 3 pm, as these hours are typically the brightest and most crowded. Use our Golden Hour Calculator for more precise timing.

What is included in the photography packages?
Each package varies, but generally includes the photoshoot session, a set number of professionally edited images, and access to an online gallery for downloading your photos. Specifics for each package can be found on our Packages page.
Can I customize a photography package?
Absolutely! We offer flexibility to meet your unique needs. If you have specific locations, style preferences, or special requests, just let us know, and we’ll create a package tailored to your vision.
What types of photography do you specialize in?
We specialize in outdoor photography in Rome, with a focus on fashion, couples, family portraits, photo tourism, and advertising photography. We also offer videography and customized sessions based on your needs.
How do I hire a proposal photographer?
Simply go to the booking section on their website, select the proposal package, and complete the payment. A few days before the photoshoot, the photographer will contact you to coordinate the details.
What about transportation during the shoot?
Please note that you’ll need to arrange your own transportation to the shoot location. To make the most of your time together, we suggest planning walkable routes between shoot spots, as traveling can cut into your shooting time. We want to ensure you have a wonderful experience!
Is it possible to arrange special preparations for a proposal photoshoot, such as balloons, a violinist, and other similar details?
Certainly. We are dedicated to ensuring that your photoshoot is tailored to your vision and conducted in the most ideal setting. We can personalize every aspect to suit your desires, including special arrangements, which may incur additional costs depending on your specific requests. You are welcome to discuss all the details with the photographer beforehand to ensure everything is perfectly arranged for your special moment.
Policy
What is your cancellation policy?
We understand that plans can change, and we’re here to help!
•If you need to cancel more than 7 days before your shoot date, we’ll gladly provide a full refund, minus a small processing fee of 3-6%.
•For cancellations made 3days or less before your shoot, you’ll receive a 90% refund.
•If you cancel within 1day of the shoot or do not attend, we’re unable to issue a refund.We will do our best to accommodate any requests for rescheduling at no extra cost, but please note that availability may vary. If you arrive late, the time missed may be deducted from your shoot, and we may adjust the number of photos delivered to reflect the actual time spent.Please remember that all sales are final for cancellations made within 24 hours or for no-shows.
In case of inclement weather, we believe that exploring the city in the rain can lead to some truly unique and beautiful photos! However, if the weather is particularly severe, we’ll work with you to reschedule or provide a full refund at our discretion.Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to capturing wonderful memories with you!

How do you handle bad weather on the day of the shoot?

Do you travel outside of Rome for photoshoots?
Yes, we are available for travel within Italy for destination shoots. Additional travel fees may apply, and we can discuss these during the booking process.
